Jury Selected in Musolino Murder Trial in Sullivan County
In Sullivan County Court Acting Judge Robert C. Williams completed jury selection for the murder trial of Nicholas Nut Musolino 22 of New York. He is charged with the shooting death of Carlo Lombardi and wounding his girlfriend Elizabeth Brices who escaped after flagging a passing truck. Police seek Peter Salanardi in connection with the case. Jury of seven women five men two alternates to report Monday at 10.

Newburgh man guilty in gambling trial
John DiCaprio 33 Chamber St was found guilty of promotion of gambling and possession of gambling records by a city court jury. His common law wife May Akerman was acquitted on the same charges after a later verdict. Three companions were sent to the grand jury on felony gambling charges. DiCaprio faces sentencing July 27 and a separate charge of possession of stolen property for an added theft connected to a painting shop ad ding machine.
