Hotels open jobs for Irish exchange youths
The Catskills Resort Association has placed two Irish students in local hotels and seeks at least 200 more for a new exchange program. Patrick Brennan and James Irwin, both 18 to 19, will earn about $80 weekly plus room and board, with Brennan at Pines Hotel and Irwin at Paramount Hotel. The project hopes to create a stable labor market by filling menial positions with Irish workers while benefiting local resorts and economy.
