Grand jury indicts Chinese alien for murder of restaurant owner
An Orange County grand jury returned a six count indictment charging 32 year old Shum Ming with murder and robbery in the April 19 killing of Mrs Ting C Tse at the On Luck Chinese American restaurant near Monroe. The same session also indicted William Wright Jr for first degree manslaughter in the Coke bottle death of a Washingtonville man. Several other arrests and charges were named, including burglary grand larceny and drug possession cases involving Newburgh and surrounding towns.
