Farm community notes detail social rounds from Monday to Sunday as the Frerichs, Weltons, Cruises, and Johnsons host dinners, calls, and visits. Attendance includes Frank Fliessner re elected in District 17, Charles Smith re elected in District 39, trips to Bayard pageants, and Farmers Union events with numerous relatives and neighbors attending.
In Cheyenne County the estate of William Hadden Wing is opened for creditor claims. A June 17, 1939, county court notice sets July 5 and October 5 1939 sessions at ten a.m. to receive and examine claims. Claims must be presented within three months from July 5 1939 and debts paid within one year from June 17 1939. Heaton & Heaton and Robt. A. Barlow appear as attorneys and county judge. 83-5-7.
Notice is hereby given that by virtue of an order of sale issued by Dan Campbell, Clerk of the District Court in Cheyenne County, Nebraska, in an action where James D. Lynch is plaintiff and Elizabeth Pence Lynch administratrix, Cheyenne Farms Incorporated and others are defendants. The sale will be held at the east front door of the Sidney courthouse at ten o'clock A M on July 22, 1939, to satisfy a foreclosure decree dated July 6, 1938, for the northeast quarter of Section 25, Township 15 North, Range 40 West of the 6th P M, Cheyenne County. Family groups visited Henry Schs family and guests including Ralph Chioupek and Wahoo relatives. Thioupek is sister to Flessners and Schmales. Frerichs and children spent Sunday at Albert Frerichs. Marjorie Morris and Walter Frerichs hosted. Mrs. Johnson visited niece Millard Zalesky and baby in Lodgepole. Weltons hosted Richard Welton Junior and Joan.
