Due to a new printing schedule the deadline for club news church news and wedding announcements is Friday at noon beginning this week. The Rittman Press will still publish on Wednesday as usual but the new schedule takes effect this week.

Wayne Soil and Water District Plans October Meeting Banquet
Band parents pack board room as the Wayne Soil and Water Conservation District schedules its 1972 annual meeting and banquet for October 2 at Northwestern High School. A 7:30 p.m. dinner precedes a brief business session with one supervisor to be elected. The nominating committee proposed Howard Martin and John Peachey, with additional nominations possible. Carl Bradford will present color slides from his behind the scenes work with Walt Disney Productions for Mountain Barn, featuring his sheep herding dogs. Tickets are sold by district supervisors and county salesmen, plus at the Extension Office and local Soil Conservation Service Office.

Cannon Fire Damages Home After Friday Game

Homecoming Night at Rittman High Stadium
Rittman High hosts homecoming events with pregame crowning and activities. The Homecoming game against Norwayne starts at 8 pm at the High Stadium. Three juveniles were apprehended by Rittman police after a break in at the Middle School on September 13. Principal Robert Miller discovered the intrusion and damage. Police will file charges at Wooster Juvenile Court.
