Delays Persist In Long Distance Calls In Rittman Area
Residents report ongoing delays for long distance and incoming calls as circuits to Wooster and Orrville remain overloaded. Construction on a tile conduit from the square to College and Main streets advances, with several months needed before new lines serve the north part of town. At a Wooster meeting last week the company president said three new long distance circuits were to be installed on Sept. 8, but local exchange data shows no new circuits active this week. C. E. Smith of Orrville declined to comment on timing.

New Band Instructor Begins Duties in Rittman

Boxers Lose 5-1 in Benefit Game
The Boxboard nine fell 5-1 to the Goodyear Wingfoots in a Sunday charity game for the Rittman Scout lodge at home.
