Impressive funerals in Wooster for WWI fallen soldiers
A triple military funeral was held in Wooster last Sunday for Corporals Ben F Stoudephelmer and Wartry Brauneck and Private Dennis Edmund of France Edlerest. Services were at Evangelical Presbyterian and Methodist churches at two o clock. Edmund Dennis, born January 29 1895 in Rittman, died in action at Belleau Wood on June 6 1918. his family home was at Burbank with his parents Mr and Mrs Frank Dennis.

Rittman Schools Open With Full Attendance and Staffing
Last Monday morning the Rittman schools opened with a full teaching force and a large pupil turnout. The Mainart building and the high school are nearing capacity with 444 scholars enrolled including 35 beginners. Plans to add more seats to accommodate the surplus were mentioned.
