Two Fire Calls Hit Rittman This Week
The Rittman fire department rushed to two incidents this week. On Salt Street Extension and Route 126 a blaze east of Packing Corporation of America burned land after fireworks sparked nearby, controlled in under 30 minutes. A gas well explosion at Leo Goffinet farm three miles west on Route 604 at 10 30 p m was extinguished in five minutes by the department.

Police Question Youths Over Vandalism Spree
