The Rittman Indians closed the 1963 football season with a Tuesday assembly where Coach Homer Pyle presented letters to 25 players. Eleven will not return. 11 juniors and 13 sophomores earned letters, with seniors and sophomores receiving varsity and junior varsity numerals. The team finished 6-4, placing fourth in the Wayne County League after a 14-6 win over Smithville.
