Auto Using Car Track Hit Near West Salem
Three West Salem men returning from a neighboring town rode along the CS and C track to bypass a bad stretch when a car pump failed and the auto sped onto the rails. The vehicle was hurled about 40 feet and demolished. Two men named Williams and Dreshelms escaped with minor injuries. Dr F W Dershimer and his wife and son John arrived last Thursday to visit friends including Mr and Mrs A H Thomas.
