Driver Dan Walters and rider Adam Looser survived with injuries. the load valued around 400 dollars, with wreckage strewn and milk spilled. truck valued about 7500 dollars, insurance around 6000.

Edward Sigler was taken to 4 Wooster hospital Saturday morning where he underwent an appendicitis operation. He withstood the procedure well and was reported in a comfortable condition Saturday. Word from the hospital Monday promised a quick recovery for the patient.

The president proclaims Boy Scout Week June 8 through 14 to enlist parents and friends as associate members of the National Council of the Boy Scouts of America. A local Citizen’s Committee will coordinate events including a service at the Presbyterian Church on June 8 at 7:30 p.m. with Scout Executive Joseph W. Taylor of Akron and local troop participation. He expects to sail from a German port, likely Rotterdam, and to be helping on harvest by July 4.
