Henry Keary and relatives from Rittman helped locate the burned clothing of Cleveland patrolman Dennis Griffin whose body was found buried in a shallow grave near Geauga Lake. The Keary family near the site assisted in the four day search, with Frank Keary then a Geauga co deputy sheriff having previously shot a bandit through the neck.

Two Die After Lincoln Highway Crash Near Wooster
Sunday morning wreck on the Lincoln highway five miles east of Wooster kills Arthur Stough and Anna Tanner. Koontz driving a Buick roadster collides with four horses recently purchased, injuring others. The deceased were divorced. Koontz was with them. The horses had been bought at a sale and were being moved to Canton. The man in charge waited past midnight to minimize traffic, but the horse team strayed and the car hit them at speed.
