Ordinance 606 authorizes water main extension funds
The Village of Rittman Ohio votes to appropriate 2000 dollars from the Water Works Fund for the Board of Trustees of Public Affairs to extend water mains. Rittman Grange met Friday evening May 9 with strong attendance. The Baltimore and Ohio Railroad will grant two $100 scholarships in Ohio for farm boys and girls who excel in agricultural club work. Winners may use funds for college or for an educational trip to Washington, D C. Past recipients include 28 scholars with 17 choosing college and 11 an educational trip.
