Howard Bair Post No 423 to lead Memorial Day services with ceremonies at gravesites listed for Knupps Cemetery Shinersburg and other local locations. Veterans and all service members invited to meet May 25 at 10:00 AM and attend Presbyterian church service at 10:30 AM.
The Talso family expresses gratitude to friends for the beautiful flowers sent by Mr. R. E. L. McCoy and family and to Wadsworth W. 8. Als for their support during their time of sorrow.
At the Nichter-Emtrh wedding in Sacred Heart church Wadsworth Mrs. Charites Orr sister of Mercrant Switzer suffered a paralytic stroke. She was treated by Dr Miller then moved home in Hicka ler's ambulance in critical condition. Switzer rushed to her sister's side as friends wish for recovery.
The M W and O company has buried wires underground in Rittman showing success in trunk lines. Four trench diggers dig a channel four inches wide and fifteen inches deep. Wires rest on a V shaped base and are sealed with coaltar compound. Sod is carefully replaced after trench work.
