Fatal auto accident kills Mrs Maude Patterson near Sterling
Mrs Maude Patterson of Sterling was instantly killed when a car struck by a W L E engine at a road crossing southwest of Sterling near Isang Smith and Ed S Wertz farms. Ernest Patterson, her husband, was badly injured with a torn ear and head injuries as the car was demolished. They had left Sterling to visit relatives in Canaan. Funeral services for Mrs Patterson were held in Sterling with burial at Canaan.

Baccalaureate Sermon Delivered in School Auditorium
Rev D A Heron of Wooster delivered the baccalaureate sermon at 2 30 Sunday afternoon in the school auditorium.
