Miss Donna Jeanne Gault directs the ninth annual Spring Concert at the auditorium Friday at 8 p.m. The two part program opens with the National Anthem and Bach Jesu Joys, then Pavanne, Beezlebub, Men of Ohio, Castle Ruins, and Gershwin Rhapsody in Blue with Tom Miller at the piano. Final selections include Wagner and Victor Herbert favorites. Band personnel and instrument sections are listed.

Navy Recruiting Seeks Consent for 21 Year Old Recruits
The Akroh Navy announces all enlistments require written parental consent for 21 year olds. Previously only 17 year olds needed consent. Enlistments open to men ages 11 to 30 inclusive with terms of 2 3 4 or 6 years, except 17 year olds who may enlist for 2 3 years or until their 21st birthday.

School Board Sets March End for Teacher Decisions
A special board of education meeting before March end will decide which faculty members face nonrenewal for next year. Unaffected staff will receive new contracts as required by law. The old gym at First Street will be remodeled into two classrooms by April 1, with access to the contractor then. A school survey ordered two months ago will be conducted by two Kent State professors after April 1.
