Jones, smaller and boasting wrestling skill, fought Peterson, who wielded a knife and struck Jones in the back. Jones was admitted to Barberton hospital in serious condition but recovering. Peterson was arrested and later pleaded guilty to cutting with intent to wound, bond set at 1000 dollars. Both men were intoxicated. witnesses say booze sparked the incident.
