Wednesday evening Mr and Mrs Chas Focht hosted twelve young guests at Ideal Alleys for a bowling tournament in honor of Miss Esther Butt visiting the Focht home. Couples scored totals ranged from 461 to 539 pins with games featuring Mr Herman Roth and Miss Rhea Shafer leading at 539. Afterward the party returned to the Focht residence for a dainty lunch and entertainment by Clarence Swartz as Happy Hooligan.

A three cent victory stamp will be issued to celebrate Allied victory over Germany and go on sale in post offices soon. On July 1 letter postage will revert to two cents with one cent for drop letters where carrier service is unavailable. Where carrier service exists drop letters will cost two cents.

Hazel May Fenn of Rittman files for divorce in Wayne County Common Pleas Court at Wooster alleging marital misconduct. She says she and Carl Hoover Fenn married March 27 1909 in Medina have three children and lived at Chippewa Lake Park most of their marriage. he now resides in Pennsylvania.

Mrs Frank Brubaker In Hospital
Mrs Frank Brubaker was taken to an Akron hospital Monday morning for appendicitis surgery. She had suffered for some time and a carbuncle abscess was noted. Her husband accompanied her to Akron for the operation. Her condition was reported favorable, but she died at about 10 30 Wednesday evening. She leaves several children, including a two month old baby.

Beiehler Boys Hear Juvenile Court Case in Wooster
Clyde and Robert Beiehler appeared in juvenile court in Wooster before Judge Weer on charges of breaking into the Main St school, depredations, property destruction, and stealing 25 dollars from the Junior Red Cross. They denied the main charges but admitted petty theft at Rittman. The court placed them on suspended sentence to the Lancaster reform school and released them. Mayor Shackleford Supt Landis and Miss Alpha Bair attended.
