In Ashland Sectional action the Rittman High Indians edged Perrysville 35 34 on a late second half drive to earn a date with Savannah Friday night at 845 PM. Bill Petkoff led both teams with 13 points after entering in the second quarter as the Indians pulled away from a sagging offense. The Ding Dong finish kept fans on edge in the Wednesday elimination game.

Funeral services for Edward Wesley Lapp were held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Ebert Funeral Home near Marshallville.
