New Construction Rules Clash With Timber Controls
H R Northup of the National Retail Lumber Dealers Association warns that even with proposed relaxations in Building Limitation Order L-41, timber control L-335 still restricts dealers. L-335 allows only ten percent of 1944 lumber sales as free lumber without authorization, and new L-41 may raise priority ratings but not erase limits.
