Zoning Hearing Set for July 23 in Rittman Council Chambers
Formal hearing on the proposed Village of Rittman zoning ordinance will be held Monday July 28 at 8 p m in the Municipal building Council chambers. A copy of the ordinance and map is on file in the Clerk’s office for inspection by interested parties. Property owners or others interested are invited to attend.
Board Sponsors Free Rides To Wadsworth Pool
More than 60 Rittman children received free bus rides to Wadsworth pool on Tuesday under the Recreation Board summer program now in its second year. Board chairman Herald Mougey says buses run Tuesdays and Thursdays, depart from the ball park by Strickland Motors at 1 pm and return from Wadsworth at 4 30 pm. The program runs from June 18 to August 25 and is open to children of all ages.

Hilson Hailed for DWI With Suspended Sentence
Anna Hilson was fined $200 and ordered to pay court costs with five months in jail, a sentence suspended on probation for one year after a June 12 jury verdict. Mayor Lewis Hoover delivered the decision Wednesday afternoon.
