Director Plans Summer Schedule for Rittman Recreation
James Van Gilder announced the Rittman Recreation field will be open Mondays and Thursdays 12 30 to 5 p m and Tuesdays Wednesdays and Fridays 9 30 to 5 p m for the summer program. Tuesday mornings are for young boys and Wednesday mornings for girls up to high school age. On June 23 at 2 p m there is a pitching contest for young boys. Basketball foul shooting to resume once court features are installed. Summer events include bicycle races boxing and other activities for youth.

Scouts To Dedicate Camp Tuscazoar
Dedication ceremonies for the new amphitheatre and Boy Scout training center at Camp Tuscazoar, in Zaarville, will run 3 to 4 p m Saturday. Frank E Gilbert Receives Final Rites at Vermilion
Frank E Gilbert 52 received final rites from Rev Dwight B Davidson at Gillman Funeral Home. Burial followed at Maple Grove Cemetery Vermilion his birthplace. He died en route from his home to Akron People s hospital on June 11 after a three month illness. He was a Salt Co employee with 25 years in production at Morten Salt Co previously based in Rittman and earlier in Vermilion.
