Twelve winners of the Youth Courtesy Week contest will take an all expense paid three day trip to Niagara Falls New York leaving from Rittman Monday June 13. Rittman Council OKs one year lease for baseball field
Rittman Council held a special meeting to authorize a one year renewable lease of the 3.6 acre Ohio Boxboard Co baseball field behind the Strickland Garage. Andrew Yarkey, driver of the car that crashed into trees along the highway in Doyles town May 30, died Saturday in Barberton Hospital. He had been in critical condition since the crash and was the only traffic fatality of the holiday weekend in the area.
