Chief Warrant Officer Laurence A. Brown USN son of Mrs Lida M Brown of Marshallville has returned to Norfolk after a round the world voyage aboard the USS Arneb. The ship spent three months in the Antarctic delivering supplies to American scientific stations and evacuating a Seabee battalion with visits to New Zealand Australia Republic of South Africa Brazil and Puerto Rico.
