Miss Phyllis Champlin wed Kenneth Forrer in a United Brethren Church ceremony before seventy six guests. The bride wore a white eyelet dress with white accessories and was escorted by her father. The Rev W E Price officiated and a reception followed in the church parlors.
Mr and Mrs Hugh Kime entertained seventeen girlfriends of their daughter Nancy on Saturday to celebrate her seventh birthday.
The Olla Podrida Club gathered June 4 at Mrs J B Benek’s home with Mrs W H Hauenstein assisting. After business, members heard three 15 minute book reviews: Thorn Apple Tree, Green Years, and The Emperor's Physician. Mrs G H Clippinger played a piano solo before refreshments for all attendees.

After Lake Erie they will reside in Hamilton where Tracey works in construction. A second wedding saw Geraldine Thomas wed Ival Eugene Snowden of Akron in the First United Brethren Church with a simple ring ceremony.
