Funeral services for Mrs Isle Geisinger 70 will be held Saturday at 2 39 at Knupps Church west of Rittman. She died Wednesday night at Dover. Geisinger was well known in Rittman where she was born and raised, with relatives including Mrs C E Beyler and Mrs Hattie Sigler in the area.

Church School Begins Monday at Rittman
The Rittman Press announces the Rillasan Vacation Church School will run June 8 through June 26 at the Main Street grade school. Sessions start at 9:00 am and end at 11:30 am with a recess. Concrete Pour Underway For New Tommy Run Bridge
The first concrete was poured today for the north abutment of a new steel bridge over Tommy Run at the North Rittman line. County Engineer office oversees the project with A T Andrew. if weather holds, the structure could be up in two weeks. Earlier a test on the old bridge by Walter Metzler showed its carrying capacity at 64 tons before failure.

The Vacation Bible School at First Brethren Church opened last Monday with 65 enrolled and growing. Attendance Wednesday reached 62. Registrations remain open until next Tuesday for those away on vacation. the church is painting the hall this week.

Two Teachers Resign at Jamesson Board Meeting
The Jamestown board accepted resignations from two teachers Miss Katherine Oilhouse language teacher at the high school resigns to pursue graduate work at the University of Michigan next year. Miss Naomi Goodwin primary teacher will teach at Wooster Township school and live with her mother in Wooster. No new teachers were hired. A refunding note for 294,949.80 was sold to Rittman Savings Bank. The board will meet the first Wednesday of the month at 8 p.m. for the summer.

Start Course for War Police in Akron Auxiliary Training

Boxboard Electricians Return From Hospital
Clarence Kunkler of Grandview and William Clark of Sheldon ave electricians at the Ohio Boxboard Co injured in a May 23 accident returned home from Wadsworth Hospital this week. Kunkler came home Sunday and Clark Wednesday. Both were burned about the face chest and arms when a break away switch threw out in the trol room as a workman stands near a high voltage line in the concrete floor with an air hammer. Production was stopped about three hours while repairs were made.
