Symphony Orchestra Concert Set for the 27th
Funeral services for J Bo Lambert, a longtime Rittman resident, were held after his death from a stroke. Lambert, born August 4 1867 in Pennsylvania, lived in Rittman for 48 years and left a family legacy. Medina Symphony Orchestra led by John Ivy will perform July 27 1926 in Rittman Park Pavilion with 60 members and soloists. Proceeds help park funds. adults and former Smithville Wadsworth Normal students invited. Council met amid heat. pay ordinance and several resolutions passed. Rittman Central Park Named By Local Legion Contest
The American Legion post offered ten dollars for a park name. Park Board judges opened nearly one hundred submissions and unanimously chose Rittman Central Park as the winner for the larger park. The prize is split, sending five dollars to Mrs Rosetta Schafer and J E Steiner for their entries.

John Bauman Dies After Stroke at Sister’s Home
John Bauman, who suffered a stroke last week and never regained consciousness, died Friday morning at his sister Mrs. James Bruny’s North Fourth street home. A Monroe County native, he had recently worked in carpentry and is survived by two sisters Mrs. James Bruny and Mrs. Wm Walters and three brothers William David and Wesley. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon from the Apostolic church south of town.

Seville Pastor H A Shook Dies After Illness
Rev. H A Shook pastor of the Methodist church in Seville died Friday afternoon in St. Luke's hospital Cleveland after an extended illness. He was a well known minister in and near the area and held a high standing in the Northeast Ohio conference.

The Studebaker Wulf rubber plant at Wadsworth, formerly the Excel plant, was sold to C. Darling of Wadsworth. On sale day bids were received, one from Trump Rubber Co of Ohio at $20,000 and Darling bid $28,000. The sale is subject to court dictates and included costs. the plant cost about $160,000 when built.

Willard Stamp aged 20 years, 11 Trouths and $ days, son of Mrs Alma Stamp of Toledo, died last Tuesday at Springfield Lake sanitarium of tuberculosis. He formerly worked at a local factory and lived with his sister Mrs H J Killer of Wadsworth.

Funeral services for Eugene Cherry in Barberton area
The body of Eugene Cherry of 240 Rose Street Barberton was moved to Rittman for funeral services and burial. He was 53 years old and died Monday. Services were held Thursday afternoon at the Apostolic Church South of town, with burial in the church cemetery.

Drowning Death of Ohio Boxboard Employee at Akron
Russell Florence aged 21 an Ohio Boxboard Co employee drowned last Sunday afternoon while bathing with a party from Akron. He disappeared in the water after a short time and despite rapid aid efforts and all restoratives he could not be revived. It is unclear whether cramps or heart trouble caused the tragedy. Bidowa of Akron prepared the body for burial in Ohio City, the deceased’s home.
