Former Rittman Boy Buried in Wadsworth
John E Orr aged 44 from St Louis Missouri was buried Friday afternoon at Woodlawn cemetery in Wadsworth. He is survived by his wife and four sons, one sister Mrs Oda Stine and his father William Orr of North Olmstead. The obituary notes he was a former Rittman resident. his father died years ago in the area.

Mrs. Daniel Jones of near Weat Selem died Tuesday morning in a Wooster hospital after a brief illness and recent operation. Surviving is O. E. Jones, longtime local teacher. Funeral services were held Thursday at the home with burial at Red Haw.

Mrs Clementine-Diarty Rheyne Dies at 63 in Sterling
Mrs Clementine-Diarty Rheyne widow of the late Joseph Rheyne died Wednesday noon at her son Josephs home in Sterling from heart trouble. Born in France she lived most of her life in this country and was 63 years 11 months and 16 days old. She had been in good health until recent days and had resided with son Armand. Funeral services were held Saturday at St Ann church and burial followed in St Ann cemetery south of town under the arrangements of A L Ebert.

Ohio Box and Salt companies provide coal to employees
As in prior years the Ohio Box board and Ohio Salt companies will sell coal to all employees of these factories at cost. The policy saves employees hundreds of dollars by offering coal at two to three dollars less per ton than the average retail price. Last year about 60 carloads were purchased and delivered to the employees.

Visits to Boy Scout Camp at Chagrin Falls
Rev R S Platter with the Joles family visited the Boy Scout camp at Chagrin Falls. Under the Cleveland council the camp hosts 200 boys in two week periods on 70 acres along the Chagrin river. Three Rittman scouts Gerald Meredith Donald Wolfe and Robert Platter began the first two week term. Rev Platter led the evening church service before about 150 boys.

Former Rittman Girl Odessa Ramseyer Dies at Wooster
Odessa Ramseyer, daughter of Fred Ramseyer of near Wooster, died Wednesday in Wooster hospital after an operation. Once a Rittman resident, she was a member of the Ramseyer family. her mother died eight years ago. A large turnout of friends and relatives attended her funeral Friday at the local U B church conducted by Rev. Barton. The father and a brother remain as surviving family members.

Two Sterling Men Injured in Sunday Auto Crash
