Danny Christine, son of Mr and Mrs Robert Perrin, became the third Rittman Boy Scout and second in his family to earn the Eagle. The ceremony at Gillman's Lake Monday evening featured Scoutmaster John Garrett and District Commissioner Glenn Kahl. Also honored were Dale Meade and Richard Meade as Life and First Class Scouts, with several merit badges awarded to Jim Bateman Richard Meade and siblings.

Father Of Local Man Succumbs After Farm Accident
Samuel E. Duvall, 60, of Wooster, died after a tractor and mower overturned on a steep Plain Township hillside. Found Tuesday afternoon, the Wooster resident had lived in Wayne County 13 years. Survived by wife Bertha Colebank Duvall, son John of Orrville, daughter Mrs Don Torgier of Dalton, 11 grandchildren, three brothers and two sisters.
