Rittman Parade Attracts 17 Groups
Seventeen organizations have registered to enter a float or marching unit in the Rittman Labor Day Homecoming parade. Parade chairman Chester Haulk said advance registration is good but more groups are urged to participate to aid planning. A general committee meeting is set for next Monday at 8 15 pm in city hall.

Monthly Preschool Health Clinic Set for Rittman Area
A monthly pre school health clinic will be held at North Street school in Rittman for children entering first grade from Doylestown Cres ton Sterling and Burbank. The July 16 and August 20 sessions run from 1 to 3 pm with Dr Kleinschmidt and two nurses. The department aims to make the third Wednesday of every month a permanent clinic day for families who have not yet seen their family doctor.

Board Hires Four For School Posts In Rittman
The Rittman Board of Education approved four new teachers and accepted one resignation at Wednesday night’s meeting. Dorothy De Nass and Mary Miller join elementary grades, Laura Jean Frye replaces Ellen Reynolds in home economics, and Tanya Jean McMoris will teach English and speech at the high school. The 1962-63 budget of 208000 was adopted and contracts awarded for painting and sidewalk work at nearby schools.

Volunteers sought for air spotter duty at Easton station
The Air Force calls for volunteers to man air spotter posts across the middle states. In Harrisonville and Doylestown many offered, with 29 ft tower work at Easton planned. Volunteers will work in pairs three hours weekly, with training on targets and reporting to the Edston Center.
