State health representatives outline toxin antitoxin as a long term protection against diphtheria. Three injections build lasting immunity, with immediate protection only from commercial antitoxin. A clinic is set for Friday July 5 at the new high school building on Malist from 7 to 9 pm.
All ex service men in the community who have not filed their National Adjusted Compensation applications are asked to report at the Legion Rooms in Realty Block on Monday evening July 14 after 7 30. The Legion hopes to complete the work that night and asks every affected veteran to attend.
Two Barberton men bought the restaurant fixtures of Charlies Heffie man and leased the building for restaurant use. They took possession Monday and are now operating the place. Heffleman continues factory work and remains a local resident.
Mr Al Hellem nephew of Mr J B Lambert and family travel from Hellertown Pa on July 4 en route to California. They left July 19 last year for Florida spent about a year. journey to continue two years with visits planned in western Ohio Indiana Illinois Nebraska and Colorado. They expect to return to Pennsylvania in about two years if plans hold.

The pair were found near Mansfield on Tuesday afternoon with the Fenn girl returning the next day. The Ritter wife stayed away, deciding the trip was too short.
Senator Robert M La Follette of Wisconsin was named last Saturday as the 79 nominee for president at the Cleveland convention. He will run on an Independent ticket on the platform he urged the Republicans to adopt at their convention.
