Tragic Death of Bertha Peters in Watertown
Bertha Peters wife of Ralph W Peters died Friday morning July 11 after a four week illness following birth. A cesarean operation preceded her death. the newborn child is reported to be doing well. Funeral services were held in Cleveland with burial at Riverside Cemetery. Bertha, 38, was active in church and missionary work and had taught in several cities before settling in Watertown. She was a daughter of Charles and Slinerva Hickin.

Eight County Residents Pass Naturalization Exam
