Services for Roy Shannon 74 former Rittman and Creston area resident were Saturday at Kenova West Virginia. Burial was in the family cemetery at White Creek. Mr. Shannon died Tuesday at Fitchville. He leaves his wife Dessie five sons and three daughters.

Mrs Florence I Hertle 61 of Doylestown died at home after a sudden illness. She taught for 16 years and was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and Doylestown Rebekah Lodge. Services were held Monday with burial at Clinton. Her husband William Hertle died in 1964.
