Ida Beery Services Held Today At Family Home
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. for Miss Ida Beery aged 41 who died Tuesday morning at her parents home on Sterling Avenue. Rev L L Grubb officiated from the family residence with burial in Pittman cemetery. Surviving are her parents two sisters Mrs John Owens of Akron and Mrs Albert McConnell of Massillon and four brothers Lester of Marshallville Nelson of Akron and Augustus and Norman of Rittman.

Wadsworth Municipal Hospital closed 1938 with no deficit according to a year end report by superintendent Anna McDonald. Revenue totaled 25 601 15 and expenses 25 591 22. Earnings from 625 patients were 25 157 96 and the city appropriated 27 000 to operate. About 4 000 was spent on new equipment including an x ray unit. The hospital runs on a month to month budget with monthly expenditure kept to a minimum. Daily cost per patient averaged 5 34.
