Mayor's Court Delivers Fines After Salt Street Raid
A Salt Street raid led to thirteen arrests as intoxicants were alleged to be sold in a questionable house. In village court Peter Romminger was found guilty of violating village ordinance 44 with a fine of 25 dollars plus 13.80 costs. Several others charged with indecency and disorderly conduct pleaded guilty and paid fines and costs. A separate warrant charged Romminger with selling beer, bail set at 160 dollars.
