Knights Initiation Stars a Big Tattuan Demonstration
A large crowd gathered Tuesday for the instituting of Rattman Lodge No 766 in Tattuan with 200 to 300 Knights from nearby towns. The procession from the B and O depot to the opera house featured the Concert Band of Rittman and 41 members admitted, with 27 new candidates and 14 from other lodges. Ashland, Seville, and Cleveland lodges conferred degrees. a six oclock dinner followed at local churches. A new school program outline was also announced including teacher focus on reading, arithmetic, and discipline over six weeks. supervisors and boards will review recommended texts.
