Ohio Salt Company Becomes Morton Salt Incorporated
The Ohio Salt Company changes its name to Morton Salt Company after a merger with Worcester Salt. The Rittman plant expands production to 900000 blocks yearly and shifts to a low pressure water system. Nine other Morton Salt units span the country as plans to expand continue.
