The group planned a country auction and public entertainment program to raise funds for Rittman High School sports.

Mayor court fines in week include reckless driving and theft cases
Ten cases judged by May or Ray Ritter this past week ended with fines. Chas Gaskill of Rittman and Clifford Napier of Rittman faced reckless driving charges. J. W. Frye Furniture Store Robbed of 140 Dollars
A thief robbed the J. W. Frye Furniture Co at 8 15 a m Thursday taking 140 dollars in cash. Clerk Don Booth described the suspect as 5 7, 160 pounds, 30 to 35, red hair, blue overalls. Frye released the clerk and police rapidly questioned suspects.

Ralph Overholt was reelected president of the Farmers Sportsmen Association at a meeting at B and W Oil Company last Sunday.
