Local Boy Escapes Serious Injury After Street Run In
Six year old Garry Bracht son of Mr and Mrs Paul Bracht of 22 St Fourth St narrowly escaped serious injury when he stepped into the path of a car driven by Boyd Miller of 240 W Ohio Ave around 12 15 p m Monday. The boy had been waiting with other children behind the school patrol and ran into the street during a game. Miller stopped and took him to Dr O J Shong for shock and possible concussion. He returned to first grade at North St school on Thursday.
