Little Tots Circus and Play At Main Street School
The Main Street building pupils staged a Friday evening program with a circus and the play The Pauper. Performers included Prince Frank V ebner and Virginia Gebhart as the fairy queen, Opal Dawson in trainer costume, Verda Rhea Winship in a Charleston, and a school chorus with Harold Snyder Kenneth Haldiman and Dale Laure in key roles. Death of Mrs Irwin Hiner in Wooster
Mrs Laura Hiner wife of Irwin Hiner of Wooster died late Tuesday at 114 West North Street. She long resided on Sterling Avenue Rittman and later in Wooster. She was active in the Presbyterian church and a Sunday school worker. Survived by husband one brother Ashley Smyser of Wooster two sisters Mrs Henry Caskey of Wooster and Mrs yed Snaddy of Smithville. Funeral services held today at 2 pm from the home with burial in Wooster cemetery.

Celebrate Fortieth Wedding Anniversary
Last Thursday evening Mr and Mrs Peter Krabll of Sterling, parents of Mrs Jay Brendegran, celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary at their Sterling home. A bountiful dinner was served at 6:20 p.m. Two long tables were used to seat guests. The tables were decorated with large centerpieces featuring white, pink decor. The evening passed pleasantly with guests departing at a late hour. Mr and Mrs Krabil received a painted floor lamp and a magazine stand as gifts.

Eleanor Lilley Dies Near Newark After Illness
Eleanor Lilley Talley eleven year old daughter of Jorvel Geller died at Reynard San Institution in Newark after a long illness. She had been in fifth grade and unable to attend since January 1. Her health declined after the fall term, but she remained cheerful. Funeral services will be from the Restor Hummel home on Wo See and St Friday at 10 AM.

Fisher And Hiers Seek Reroute Of Highway Through Wadsworth
Fisher and Hiers representing the automobile club visited Columbus to appeal to the State Highway Department for rerouting No 3, the Lake County Coe highway, through Wadsworth and nearby towns. They warned many communities would be affected and urged petitions from Medina, Seville, Creston, and others to block the plan. Local advocates for the route argued the current layout would reduce traffic and economic benefits unless changes are approved.

On a mild Saturday Roy Engstrom John Hi Fisher and Rueben Fisher fished Chippewa Creek south of town with earthworms and light rigs. They caught 22 suckers by evening, with Engstrom and Fisher’s son-in-law a Cleveland lawyer. they annually fish near Ontario at the opening of the Canadian season for lunge pickerel and bass.
