Pac Mor Camp Club of Rittman schedules planning meetings for the Spring Statewide Campout. Saturday February 17 begins at 1 p.m. at Freedlander Chalet Wooster with a 6 p.m. potluck supper and 8 p.m. Wooster Camp-O-Rama meeting. All interested campers urged to attend.
Mrs Mabel C Brenneman 75 of 128 Maplewood Ave died Monday night at home. Born Feb 16 1897 in Sterling daughter of Peter and Matilda Rich Krabill she lived in Rittman since 1919 and belonged to First Mennonite Church of Wadsworth. Survived by husband Jay son Dean four grandchildren one great granddaughter. Services at 1 30 pm Thursday at Gillman Funeral Home with Pastor Donald R Steelberg officiating burial in Rittman Cemetery. Friends may call 7 9 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
Wilmer J. Hartman of Route 1 Rittman Ohio has been elected a EMC trustee for a four year term. He is a pastor and active in Mennonite church groups and education work. His wife Lois Ann Miller is active in WMSC and related groups.
Rittman High School Student Council sponsors a dance titled Sadié Hawkins Style in the multi purpose room on Saturday February 17 from 8 30 to 1 30 The Pegasus will provide the music for the event.
