May Hold Summer School In Rittman
A survey of interest in summer school work is underway by Rittman school administrators. Students list desired subjects and courses offered depend on enrollment and trained teachers. Fees may be charged, with nearby summer schools charging 6 to 30 dollars per course. The Board of Education authorized the survey to gauge need and will decide in coming months. Driver training has been the only summer program so far, begun two years ago and deemed a success.

Ashton Hall a Rittman teacher since 1941 filed to run for State Representative on the Democratic slate. If he wins in May the Hall Lehman race will face incumbent Ralph Fisher of Wooster.
