Car stolen from Boxboard Parking Lot Recovered
Robert Rang of Rittman had his car stolen from the Ohio Boxboard parking lot last Thursday morning. Summit County sheriff recovered the vehicle near Cushogs Falls on Saturday. the car was not damaged. Rang brought the car back to Rittman on Tuesday after Marshal Hefelman investigated and broadcast details of the missing car.

Rittman High School hosted its second band concert of the year before a capacity crowd in the high school auditorium. The trumpet trio Kenneth Forrer, Kenneth Hilty, and Joseph McGorry were rewarded with an encore for Three Trumpeteers. Heights High School director Frederick Ebbes conducted three pieces and praised the Rittman band and director Frederick Ebbes for their fine work as four selections from the National Band Contest List were performed.
