Evangelistic meetings at the IT'B church attract strong attendance and interest. Dr. P. Camp, an experienced speaker, shares a broad message. Evenings meet at 7 30 and Bible studies occur daily at 2 PM.
Dale Aurand two year old son of Mr and Mrs Gault Aurand of Senecast was buried Saturday afternoon. Short services were held at the house at one and at the United Brethren church at 1 30 conducted by Rev W N Barton. Attending from a distance were L F Gault of Sycamore a great grandfather and Eliza Gault and family of Medina.
Tuesday evening the church choir and families gathered in the church parlors for a social. Supper was served and the evening included games and conversations. A good time was reported by all attendees.
The Ohio State Civil Service Commission schedules a special examination in Columbus on Friday February 23 to fill the superintendent position at Dayton State Hospital after Dr E A Baker's resignation and transfer. The vacancy offers 33600 dollars plus maintenance and requires registration upon request. Separately, 32 Ohio farmers in the state wide corn contest averaged 87 bushels per acre on 10 acre plots, well above the state average of 39.
Heestand of Ohio Sai Co sustained serious injuries when his car left the pavement and plunged over an embankment west of town on a foggy Friday night. A companion was with him as they traveled east. First aid was given at Dr Toland’s office and he was taken to the Community hospital at Wadsworth with a fractured collar bone and cuts and bruises.
Norman Snyder, a former Rittman resident and nephew of F W Snyder, was severely injured in Barberton after being caught between a pulley and a large belt at a local factory. He was first deemed critical and taken to Citizens' hospital at Harborton, but his condition has since improved markedly.

The bond sale occurred Friday at 1 pm with 19 bidders. Detroit Trust Co bid 117,386.00 premium 7,346.00 as winner on the 130,006.00 issue. Northern Trust Co 6,443.80. W K Terry & Co 3,664.00. The issue runs 26 years at 5 percent. Board of Education expresses gratification.
