Residents in Weirton Cincinnati Covington Akron Jamestown and Pomeroy acclaimed the Hipple Concert Company for a balanced troupe with engaging personalities and strong encores. Mrs Hipple’s left handed Lucia sextette drew praise, and the company was deemed the course’s finest opener. The troupe wraps up at School Auditorium Thursday evening February 22.

Farewell Party Held For Rettben Becks Before Move

Fire Alarm Saves Salt Street Property

The Salt Street property owned by George Hoover and occupied by Rodenbrach avoided serious damage after a fire started in the basement furnace. A small dog’s barking awakened the occupants at about eleven o'clock Wednesday night, prompting quick action by the Rodenbaughs and roomers to extinguish the blaze. The extent of damage is described as fairly heavy.

Oil Well Struck On Sherman Lee Farm Near Sterling
