Four Jailed After Crash Involving Stolen Automobile
Four youths face charges from delinquency to auto larceny after a Sunday crash on a Smithville bridge. Alfred Williams 20 of Rittman drove the stolen car. passengers were Carl Ward 20 of Huntington West Virginia Norma Miksch 21 and Maxine Hodkins 17 both of Rittman. Ward is expected to be charged with auto theft. Williams faces operating the car without a license and owner’s permission. Miksch and Hodkins are detained for investigation with possible delinquency charges. Both young women are married, one with husband in Italy and one in Belgium, reportedly drawing government checks as service wives.
