Volunteers Bring Cheer to 31 Rittman Families This Christmas
A volunteer group in Rittman organized Christmas boxes for over 30 local families. They filled each box with food toys and clothing tailored to each family's needs. Citizens donated most canned food toys and clothing while local businesses funded meat and fresh produce. The effort, led by Mrs. Russell Lewis and Mrs. Ralph Gwaltney, includes multiple clubs and groups aiding twenty plus families.

Public hearing on zoning change at City Hall
A public hearing is set for January 14 at 7 30 p m in the council chambers to consider adopting a resolution amending the zoning law for land on Home Ave owned by Clyde Semler from residential to commercial. Robert Rankin was fined 100 and costs and given three days in jail for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
