Rittman Quintet to Face Wadsworth in Sat Game
The Rittman High School boys basketball team travels to Wadsworth for a foreign game Saturday against the Wadsworth cage squad. The squad, hoping for a strong showing in their first real contest, will return the game on their home floor later in the season. Manager James announced plans for travel by machine and many locals will attend. Also noted is Dr. Thompson from Spokane visiting family here and seeking a car for his father’s care. he previously ran a large northwest drugless establishment and spent his childhood in the area.

Walter Burger in Critical Pneumonia Decline After Shooting Scars
Walter Burger twenty year old son of Joseph Burger of northwest of town remains seriously ill with pneumonia, weakened by a past gunshot injury to the lungs. He is a 1920 local high school graduate and an employee of The Ohio Boardboard Company with a wide circle of friends hopeful for recovery. Tragic death of Jacob Rohrer, age 81, husband of Mrs Sam Rohrer, due to heart trouble following paralysis, funeral at Menonite Church north of town.

Last Thursday morning eleven o'clock in the home of Mrs Anna Conrad near Canton the marriage of Marie Conrad to Joseph Graber of Sterling was performed by Rev Gerig of Smithville in the presence of about forty relatives and friends The groom is the son of Mr and Mrs Daniel Graber of Sterling and is known in Sterling and Rittman The bride is well known in Sterling and the couple will reside on a farm near Sterling after April first.

RITTMAN GRANGE NEWS Christmas plans and new members welcomed
Regular session drew many patrons despite bad roads. Five new members received the third and fourth degrees and were welcomed as sisters and brothers.
