Rittman P T A Christmas Program Promises Music
The Rittman Parent-Teacher Association will host a December meeting in the high school auditorium featuring a Christmas music program by the high school choral groups under Miss Garolyn Swope and the concert band directed by Vernon Reeder. No business meeting is planned. A ham dinner for about 95 people was held Tuesday, Nov. 30 in the First St School cafeteria, organized by hospitality chair Muss Robinson with help from several volunteers.

Doylestown Girls Hit by Car Injuries Reported
Lynn Durbin aged 13 and Patricia Durbin aged 12 were struck by a car at Church and Portage Streets in Doylestown Friday evening. They are in good condition at Barberton Hospital, son and daughter of Mr and Mrs Jack Durbin. The vehicle was driven by Carl Anderson of Doylestown. A hearing will be held after their hospital release.

Rittman To Decorate With Ximas Lights After Delays
Rittman will place Christmas decorations in its business district after a funding misunderstanding delayed the project. The City Council approves 200 dollars as the city share with merchants paying the rest, costing over 400 dollars. Plain strings of lights will line Salt and Main Streets and the square, intertwined with evergreen. City crews and Ohio Edison workers prepare to install the lights.
