BOWLERS EYE OFFICIAL PLAY FOR FALL LEAGUE
About 50 members of Rittman's summer bowling league joined a mammoth chicken dinner at Smithville Inn as tentative plans emerged to start the fall and winter play as an American Bowling Congress affiliated group. High School Office Opens for Fall Registration

Steiner Suffers Stroke in Milton Township
C. J. Steiner, 60, of N Main Street, Milton Township trustee chairman and Rittman mail messenger, showed signs of slight improvement after a stroke early Tuesday. He could not rise at dawn, could not speak, and was found paralyzed on his right side by his wife.
